The World Tree's spirit records the memories of the past.
This is the root of the World Tree.
Each root leads to the land of the humans, Midgard,
the realm of the gods, Asgard,
and the world of evil, Niflheim.
The World Tree is losing its power.

The first root of the World Tree passes through the entrance of Midgard.
The god Odin killed Ymir and used his flesh to create the earth,
created humans to live in the middle of that earth,
and built a stockade using Ymir's eyelashes.

Man's world is surrounded by the ocean.
Humankind was weak and became the target of evil spirits;
however, they also possessed the greatest potential, and surpassed all others.
When a son of humankind contaminated the World Tree,
the leaders of the Trolls brought their men to the World Tree.

Soon the Gnomes came, also crowding inside of the World Tree.
Trolls and Gnomes trampled the flowers, grasses, and leaves of the World Tree,
and soon the spring Hvergelmir was also contaminated.
